Do you love scuba diving? Scuba diving is very difficult if you don’t have scuba fins. The reason it is difficult is because you have the weight of the scuba pack and your gear on top of your own body weight. So picking the right scuba fins is critical to a successful scuba dive. Here is how you pick the right scuba fin.

First you need to decide what type of fin you want:

Open Heel Fins

These fins are great if you dive in cold water, since then require scuba dive booties. The nice thing about these fins is that they are adjustable to fit your feet or if you have a friend that forgot their fins you could lend them yours. The bad thing about these fins is that the strap is the weakest part of the fin so make sure you carry a spare strap.

Closed Heel Fins

Closed heel scuba fins are primarily used for warmer water, but some people even use them in cold water, but it makes your feet really cold. This scuba fin is very durable and last longer than a open healed fin. The bad thing about these scuba fins is that they can be hard to find because of having to fit you just right.

So next time you are out looking for your scuba equipment think about where you will be diving and make sure you get the right pair.

Monday, February 2nd, 2009

Dear All:  I want to introduce you to a dear friend of mine whom I love with all my heart.  She cures what ails me in a heartbeat.  when I am lost, I turn to Michelle and she centers me.

Tell me, do any of the following statements sound familiar?

You’ve had some great insights and growth spurts, but you eventually slip back into old patterns?

You’ve experimented with the Power of Attraction and other spiritual “quick fixes” – and maybe you’ve even had some amazing results – but before long you’ve found yourself stalling or backsliding?

You’ve read a ton of self-help books but still don’t seem able to move your life past a certain “glass ceiling.” You’ve achieved some big goals and had some successes in life, but soon found yourself feeling disappointed or empty?

Your “old stuff” keeps coming back in new ways, wrapped in new disguises. You read books and take workshops, but something is missing. Nothing seems to permanently change. You’re bursting at the seams to rid your life of struggle and frustration, but struggle and frustration seem to dog you?

Welp, here is a bit of joy and love for you from a woman that I hold dear!

All, I would like to introduce you to Michelle Rigg, Michelle, meet all of my beloved Team K2 Subscribers. . .

You Deserve Happiness, You Deserve Joy, It is your Birthright, and it starts NOW!

Thursday, January 22nd, 2009

Life is pure, beautiful, genuine, and authentic. A blade of grass has no angst while it is growing. We live in an artificial construct called "society" that beats us, corrals us, imprisons us, and some of us, the very worst of us, transmogrify from fellow prisoners, to sadistic jailers.

As we are lulled into sleep by the “just fit in” crowd.  And any of us outliers holding the keys to the prison are snuffed, pushed aside, or culled.

Welp, you cannot keep joy down.

Take a look:

.

Want to know how you can control your own world and reality? Be genuine and authentic to others, but verbalize it and let the world know what you think of them it’s easier thank you imagine. . . .

. . . .and by the way, Your awesome!

Inspiration for the Season, “I Am Potential: The Patrick Hughes Story.”

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

. . . this is the season of love, of giving, of grace, of joy! I found this video of Patrick and his dad. Please accept the blessings of this story, and let the joy and awe spread. . .

Patrick Henry Hughes was born with a rare genetic disorder that left him without eyes and physically disabled. But he was also blessed with exceptional musical talent—able to play the piano as a toddler and now, at age 19, a nationally known pianist, singer, and trumpeter who has performed at the Grand Ole Opry and the Kennedy Center. Currently he’s a member of his college marching band, playing while his devoted father pushes him in his wheelchair. With determined optimism and courage, Hughes has made “I am potential” his mantra and defied the impossible at every turn.

Blessings and Grace to all,

Tevis
